A Gorjuss girl for Toppers and Pre-coloured images week

Hello Everyone! Jane here today and I am kicking off another themed week on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog. Our theme is 'Toppers and pre-coloured images' and I have chosen to use a Gorjuss Girls Decoupage topper on my card.

This decoupage set is called 'We can all Shine' and is available here from My Mum's Craft Shop. I also used Gorjuss girl papers from the 6x6 stack. The little sentiment label which I stamped with a Penny Black sentiment and the little spotty heart are also from the decoupage pack.

I added some purple lace and pins from my stash and some lovely purple flowers. I also punched some butterflies from the waste paper with the decoupage and finished off with some stick on gems. I hope you have a lovely Sunday and make sure you join us tomorrow for our new Challenge!

Hallooooo my crafting peeps!

Today I have a wee card to show you using a quirky Paper Artsy stamp set...

This stamp set is JOFY 15 and is a whole sheet of cute and quirky stamps (I've used 5 of the stamps in this scene). Everything is coloured with copics. I stamped each of the birdies twice so that I could layer up their wings to give a 3d effect. The bird box I actually paper pieced and then added some copic shading. The papers I've used are MME Unforgettable. The gorgeous frame (my new plaything!) is the new Chalkboard Frame Dienamics.

Thanks for stopping by! xx

A cute Baby Elephant

Hello Everyone! Jane here today with a New Baby card which I have made with some of the new stamps and papers which have recently arrived at My Mum's Craft Shop. I have used the 'Woodware Baby Patch Elephant' and paper pieced it using some of the gorgeous Echo Park 'Here and Now' papers.

I added some stick on gems to the little flowers on the elephant and stamped the letters to form the sentiment onto some patterned papers from the pad and added them to the card with foam pads. I stamped the hearts onto patterned paper and added one to the top left of the card and added a button on top. I added the smaller heart overlapping the ribbon and finished with stick on gems. I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Bianca Loves Her Big Cake

Hi guys! I'm continuing with our theme of BLING this week and I decided to use just one statement piece of bling- this gorgeous Rhinestone Button from The Hobby House....

The image I've used is Stamping Bella Uptownie Bianca Loves Her Big Cake coloured with copics.  These truly stunning papers are Prima Introspection. I've mounted Bianca on a die-cut using Dienamics Rounded Banner Stax. The sentiment is taken from another Uptownie stamp (Isabelle Loves Her Ice Cream).

Close up!

Have a great day! x

My Pink Heart

So as you know it's bling it up week! All the team were challenged to create something blingy.. this of course was super easy for me as you know i love my rhinestones & pearls, so i decided to go the whole hog and make it shine :)
My god i LOVE these stamps so much, i just cannot stop creating with them! I decided to go for a pink and black combo to make it rather girly! I used the Art Expressions to create the background and also the Abstract Art for the splodges! The sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental About Art Set. As for the dies i used the Dienamics Paintbrushes & Dienamics Double Scallop Border. You can also find the brilliantly useful Cabochons in the store too!

Dressing Up

So, this week, it's all about Bling. Dress Up Marci from La-La Land Crafts seemed a great choice for this theme, with her little pearl necklace. It was easy to put her with some bling, lace and feathers... goodies you might find in a dressing up box. The Flag Banner Die is also La-La Land Crafts. The papers are First Edition New Bloom. I love this paper pad, it's really pushing me to use colours I wouldn't normally colour with. And, the papers are really pretty. Some even have glitter on. Perfect if you're making something blingy!

Fluttering by...

Hello Everyone! Jane here today! Our theme on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog this week is 'Add some bling' so I have a card with extra sparkle for you today!  I have used some gorgeous papers from My Mind's Eye on my card. These are from the 'Collectable Memorable' pad which has some fabulous designs in it. The sweet little girl stamp is My Favourite things - Doodle Garden 'Fluttering by' .

I have added lots of gorgeous flowers as well as some stick on gems and pearls and a beautiful saddle stitch ribbon which I tied in a large bow and topped with a beautiful daisy.

I coloured my image with a mix of Promarkers and Graph'it pens. I love these pens now and need lots more of them! I cut the image out leaving a small border before I added her to the card. Enjoy the rest of your Weekend!

Blue and Pink!

With Fathers Day fast approaching, I wanted to make something male themed... The papers are Echo Park Scoot, such a fun pad this one. The image is La-La Land Craft Luka with Truck, (don't we all know a little boy that looks like this?!) And the Dies are from La-La Land Crafts too. With the exception of his grey trousers, he's been coloured with Graph Its. If you haven't tried these markers yet, it's worth having a go. The colours are really vibrant and easy to blend. They're available in 3 Packs too, if you fancy playing but aren't sure where to start.. The colours have been chosen to work as a threesome, easy peesy!

But, with all that boy stuff happening, I felt the urge to make something quick and girly too! so, out came The Hobby House Wee Stamps Suzi's Garden Toppers, First Edition Floral Pavillion Papers and Memory Box Simple Banner Die. Job done!

Love Birds

Hello Everyone! Jane here today with a little card I made using one of the lovely brand new mini JoFy stamps which arrived this week at My Mum's Craft Shop. I have used the Lovebirds image to make a topper for my card by stamping it onto some Gorjuss papers from the 6x6 pack and then stamping the birds again onto white card. I then coloured them in and cut out their bodies before paper piecing them on to my stamped image. I also paper pieced the little heart.

I used a Dienamics die to cut the postage stamp rectangle which I layered my birds onto. I layered up more papers to cover my card base and added some jute mesh and cotton ribbon before the layers were added to the card. I also added a gorgeous crocheted flower topped with a wooden button,

Here is a close up of my coloured image. I coloured the little birds in with Promarkers. I added a little purple paper flower to the top right of the image and finished with some stick on gems. I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Time for Tea

Morning all :)

Wasn't Jane's Ribbons or Bows project yesterday gorgeous? I loved the bright colours.

I wanted to make something a little tearoom, and used a bow to tie a cute little teapot on my card, just perfect for Tea Time Marci from La-La Land Crafts. The die is also from La-La Land Crafts. The papers are Carta Bella Devoted, I love the pretty colours in this pad and finally, the doily is from Bo Bunny, for a touch of cuteness. Job done!
