Songs of Winter!

Good Morning!
Natalie here and I have an extra card to share with you all today.
This card is something a little different for me, yes it is Clean & Simple but the stamp set is different to what I am used to.
The bird is actually made up of 4 different stamps, each being a different 'layer', the branch and berries are also separate. Perfect if you have ink pads in various shades of the same colour!

This stamp set is called 'Winter Cardinal' and can be found over at the MMCS website HERE.

Altenew 'Winter Cardinal' Stamp Set
- AVAILABLE FROM MMCS
Red & Brown Sprinkles by Doodlebug

Adorable Elephants

Good Morning MMCS fans!
I could not wait to share the new "Adorable Elephants" stamps from the latest release from MFT
This make also feature the new Watercolour stripes stamp from this release. I love the effect this gives, I think  I will be using it a lot!!!!
The base layers are cut from the "Blueprints 20 set" , and then I used the "Photo insta frame" die to make a shaker card, adding the word Baby from the "Bright lights " Alphabet die set. To finish I just dotted on a few gems .
Kinda cute , doncha think???
I hope you got your favs from the latest MFT release.. if not check out the store.. and treat yourself, after all it is nearly Christmas.
Have a great day!

Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Hello Everyone! Are you ready for Christmas? I nearly am. I have bought all my presents but there is still some time left for me to whip up some handmade cards from my Friends using some of the lovely Avery Elle Christmas Florals stamps from My Mum's Craft shop.
To make the card, I used a round die to trace a circle with pencil on to some white card as a starting point then stamped the sentiment into the middle of the circle. I then stamped the wreath starting with the lighter green leaved then stamping the darker ones over the top. I let it dry and then rubbed out my pencil lines.

I stamped some berries to which I added stick on gems then stamped some flowers on to scrap card and cut them out before adding them to the wreath with foam pads. I then finished with some gems and pearls and added the finished wreath to a card covered with spotty paper.
I hope you have a lovely Friday and a lovely Weekend.

A Clean and Simple Birthday card

Hello Everyone! Apologies for the late post but it has been a busy day and a busy week. Jane here today to share a Clean and Simple birthday card with you today which I made using the My Favourite  Things Birthday Wishes and Balloons stamp set

I decided to go Clean and Simple which was a real challenge for me but I am really happy with the finished card. I used 3 different red inks to stamp the balloons first and then added the balloon strings and the sentiment and a tiny heart from the set.
I added some denim paper on to my card and some gingham paper I had in my stash and finished with some paper flowers and stick on gems.
I hope you have a lovely Weekend.

Merry Everything

Good Afternoon :)
Today I am sharing a card made with one of my all time favourite stamp sets.
For this card I used the MFT Jingle All The Way Stamps for the images and sentiment. I coloured them with my copics and cut them out with the matching dies. I mounted these onto rectangle I die cut using the Cross Stitch Rectangle Dienamics Die. The papers are by Doodlebug and I added some ribbon and a resin flower to finish.

Santa's Suit

Hello my crafty friends...
You have joined me at the start of another crafting week for my latest make here at MMCS.
I had to have this fabulous die set called "Santa Suit" ... as it is so versatile.

This is a perfect fit for a A6 card , and super quick too!
I added the sentiment using my Paper Smooches "Christmas Words"
Of course, Santa's Suit doesn't have to be red, the tradition I believe was green. I am off to create one in glitter card... yum!
 Have fun crafting today

Toasty Greetings

Hello crafters :)
Have you seen the latest new MFT release? OMG it's amazing full of gorgeousness and so many must haves! I decided to use the new snowman stamp set for this card...
The stamp set by MFT is called Toasty Greetings and features so many lovely images and sentiments to match. I coloured my snowman with Copics and added lots of glamour dust - can't have too much glitter at Christmas! I also used the Pierced Circle Frame Die-namics. I teamed up an old stencil with distress inks for the background and added some ribbon.

All the products can be found at My Mums Craft Shop.

A cute Penguin family

Hello Everyone! I hope you are well. Jane here today. I am trying to get organised and make some more Christmas cards as Christmas is fast approaching! I have nearly finished my shopping but have not made many cards at all. I used the Avery Elle Penguin Greetings stamp set on my DT card for My Mum's Craft shop. I love this set and I think I will be using it for a lot of my cards for Friends and Family this year as I love the way you can use the little penguins together to represent Family groups.

I used the fabulous Doodlebug Sugar Plums papers and an older Paper Smooches sentiment.  I am trying to wean myself off using my sewing machine so much on my cards at the moment so didn't stitch this one and kept the layout quite simple.

I had lots of fun paper piecing the penguin's clothes using matching papers from the pad and coloured the images using my Promarkers. These were very quick to colour in and I then finished the card with some stick on gems and a wooden snowflake. I hope you have a lovely Friday and a lovely weekend.

All I want for Christmas is ewe....

Hello Everyone! Jane here today with another Christmas card! I am really loving all the new Christmassy stock which has recently arrived at My Mum's Craft shop and I fell in love with the Baaah Humbug Lawn Fawn stamps. It seems you all did too as these are unfortunately sold out at the moment but there are plenty other Lawn Fawn stamps in stock here.

To make my card, I created some snowy hills using textured card and a My Favourite Things die. I stamped the sentiment on to the bottom snowy hill and some holly using tiny stamps from the set. I pieced the hills on to some snowy paper from the Doodlebug SugarPlums pad and used more papers from the pad to cover my card base.
Here is a close up of the little sheep which I coloured in with Promarkers. They are adorable and I love the tiny little heart. I kept my card very simple and added a small die cut snowflake with a pearl heart as a finishing touch. I hope you have a lovely Friday!

Sugarplum Christmas

Hi there lovelies and happy Saturday.  It's Shelly up on the blog today and I can't believe it's come around to my turn again already!

Have you started your Christmas preparations yet or is it still too early?  I've been pushing myself to make a start on my Christmas cards so thought I would go for a Christmas theme this week.

I've used the Teddy Behind Present stamp by Wild Rose Studio and coloured him with Copics before mounting onto lime green cardstock.

The papers are from the Doodlebug Sugarplums paper pad and I have mounted all my layers onto lime green cardstock to tie in with how I have coloured the image.  I love the colours in this pad, it's nice sometimes to do something different to the usual red and green.

For some reason it took a few attempts before I was happy with my layout and my table was strewn with nearly every sheet from the pad that I had cut into and then discarded :-(

I've finished my card off with some blue cotton lace trim, a couple of buttons and a crystal snowflake charm tucked into the corner.

Hope I have inspired you to get into the Christmas spirit early with my festive make!

Have a great weekend.

Fall Friends

Hello Everyone! I hope you are well and are looking forward to the Weekend. Jane here today with a  card I made using products which have recently arrived at My Mum's Craft Shop .

I have used the adorable 'Fall Friends' collection from Doodlebug for my little Thank you card.I created a little scene using papers and some punches  and added a little sewing before sticking the papers to my card. I used a cloud die to add the sentiment and accented it with a little flower.

This little cutie is a cardstock sticker. I added him to the card with foam pads and added an acorn sticker on the grass with a wooden heart button. I love the autumnal colour tones of this pad, they really inspired me. I have been crafting a little more lately and feel I am getting my mojo back so I am hoping I will be updating my blog at little more often! Have a lovely Weekend.
